Story

Hello I would like to introduce myself, My name is Trudi Skedsvold the owner and instructor of Tatanka Stables. I want to give a little bit of information of where I come from and how I arrived here in North Carolina. I have always been involved with horses from a young age and still very much am. I was in High School Rodeo and after High School I joined the local rodeo association. In 2012 I married my husband and we took over his fathers bison ranch in North Dakota. After 10years and 3 kids later we decided to move on to our next adventure and warmer weather. So we packed up everything after finding the perfect property in North Carolina. I have always had a passion for teaching and I enjoy teaching people about these amazing animals. So I decided to start Tatanka Stables to help people learn to ride and share the joy of riding horses.
